PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 in Denmark will be first ever Counter-Strike 2 Major
The announcement of Counter-Strike 2 and the subsequent hype it has created has been barely been matched by any other game. And if its ongoing limited beta test wasn’t news enough, it has been revealed that the revamped game’s first esports event will happen next year.
The history-making, first-ever Counter-Strike 2 Major will take place between March 17 and 31 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Many will feel it is apt that such a milestone competition will be held in a country with such close ties to the game and esports in general.

The PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 will see the world's top 24 Counter-Strike 2 sides battle it out. It will boast a massive prize pool of $1,250,000, so fans can expect the competition to be fierce as they battle to become the game's first Major champions.
