The PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR A ended on February 17 at the PGL Studios in Bucharest, Romania. It ended as the sixth most watched and popular event in the RMR series, getting the build to the first-ever Counter-Strike 2 Major off a solid start.
This competition recorded 340.6K Peak Viewers during Day 2's Round 3 High Match between Natus Vincere and Virtus.pro. The latter won 2:0, although both teams progressed to the PGL Copenhagen Major thanks to finishing in the top five places.

Four teams had two appearances each on the most popular matches table, with both of NAVI's matches making the top three. Their performances also helped the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR A hit 6.6M Hours Watched and 186.2K Average Viewers over 36 hours of airtime.

Interestingly, the Ukrainian side, usually the most followed side at any Counter-Strike 2 event it plays, could not notch the top spot here. That honor went to another popular team that also qualified for the Denmark tournament.
It has to be noted that the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 will consist of teams that qualify from the four RMR regions. With the European RMR A done, there are still sides from the other three events that need to be decided.

When looking at the RMR series overall, the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR A was the sixth most viewed tournament on a table led by the IEM Road to Rio 2022: European RMR B. It is also sixth on the peak viewership leaderboard that is topped by the IEM Road to Rio 2022: American RMR. However, it by far had the least airtime among these leagues.
Readers must note that the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 will emanate from the Royal Arena in the Danish capital from March 17 to 31. This S-Tier event will see 24 sides battle it out for a prize pool of $1.25M, with the winner earning a berth at the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024, which will be held from November 13 to 17.
