MOUZ complete a comeback win at PGL Wallachia S6, final peaks at 371k live viewers
PGL Wallachia Season 6 wrapped up in Bucharest on November 23, marking PGL’s final Dota 2 tournament of the year. The event pulled in a strong audience and delivered plenty of exciting matchups. A surprise champion and the comeback of legendary veteran — it doesn’t get any better than that.
PGL Wallachia Season 6 was held at the PGL Studio, bringing together the usual field of 16 teams from across the globe. The lineup featured a mix of direct invites and regional qualifier winners. The biggest shock of the Group Stage was the complete collapse of the Chinese teams: none of them managed to find their footing in Romania, being eliminated before the playoffs.
The double-elimination bracket seemed straightforward at first, but that quickly changed thanks to an incredible lower-bracket run from MOUZ. Coming into the event, the team was seen as a dark horse, especially after making roster changes right before the tournament, so expectations weren’t high. But MOUZ proved everyone wrong. After dropping their opening match to PARIVISION, they stormed through the lower bracket with four straight wins and capped off their run by defeating Team Liquid 3:2 in the grand final.

For MOUZ, this marks the organization’s first LAN victory since reentering the Dota 2 scene. The club disbanded its roster back in 2017 and didn’t return to the game until 2024. Since then, MOUZ has been a steady presence at tier-2 events and even picked up titles at the online tournaments Dota2 World Invitationals and European Pro League Season 22.
MOUZ’s success owes a lot to Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng, a former Team Secret star and one of the top mid players from 2017 to 2019. In recent years, the Malaysian player had been mostly absent from the pro scene, but he bounced back in September 2025, joining MOUZ and quickly showing his form.
