PUBG Mobile introduces partnership program for esports scene
PUBG Mobile has announced the PUBG Mobile Partnership Program for its esports scene, which will first be introduced in Southeast Asia. This new structure brings with it the promise of slots in the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) and PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) of the region of the respective partner esports organizations.
The format will see its first run in the Southeast Asia region, where it will act as an upgrade to the PMPL SEA and be called the PMSL SEA. The Spring Season begins next month, followed by the Fall Season in August. Thus, the PUBG Mobile Super League SEA will be the new top tier for the region, with the top teams of the PMPL getting promoted to the PMSL and competing in both leagues.

The PUBG Mobile Partnership Program aims to help professional teams sharpen their competitive mindsets, popularity, and contribution to the game’s ecosystem. For now, the sides included in this program have not been revealed; those who join the PMSL will improve and grow as official partners of PUBG Mobile by increasing their exposure to fans and building on their competitive performances.
The top teams from the two seasons of the PMSL will get berths at the season-ending PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) based on their performances at both the PMPL and PMSL. Also, no matter their placements in the PMPL, each team in the Partnership Program will have fixed slots in the PMSL.
James Yang, Director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports, was excited about the new development, saying:
“We’re incredibly excited to kick off this new chapter in PUBG Mobile Esports by launching the PUBG Mobile Partnership Program. We have so many amazing teams across the world that have been a huge part of what makes PUBG MOBILE successful, and we now have the opportunity to work even closer with them. Through the Partnership Program and the respective PMSL, teams, players and fans will have a greatly improved experience as the opportunities pro teams can provide continue to grow.”
With the PMPL SEA having gotten underway on February 15, fans have already gotten a taste of what is to come after these changes. Teams from Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and the SEA Wild Card (Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Singapore) are competing in this regional Spring Season, with a slot in the new PMSL SEA League at stake.
