Esports Chart summarized the results of the game day and its spectator statistics.
Results of the second day
According to the results of the Bo3 matches, G2 Esports managed to win in a tense struggle versus the other favorites of the tournament — ENCE (16:7 on Dust2, 16:19 on Ancient and 16:9 on Mirage). In turn, Vitality faced serious resistance from forZe, but in the end they still turned out to be stronger (12:16 on Nuke, 16:9 on Dust2 and 16:12 on Mirage).
The second main intrigue of the day was the names of the teams that would be the first to leave the major. As a result, Renegades were knocked out by the Mongolian team IHC Esports from the tournament, and Team Liquid confidently beat the Argentine 9z Team.
In addition to the Bo3 series, there were also matches up to one victory between teams with 1:1 statistics. And the team from Kosovo Bad News Eagles being out of step from reaching the next stage of the major, beating the veterans of the Brazilian scene Imperial Esports.
Viewership statistics

The second game day of PGL Antwerp Major turned out to be slightly less popular in terms of viewerships than the first one, but there is no reason to talk about a drop in audience interest in the tournament. In particular, the top 5 games of the event at the moment include three matches of the second game day. The most popular game of the second day was the brawl between G2 Esports against ENCE, which peaked at 581.1K people, which is 8% less than the record of the first day.
If we consider the general metrics, then the Peak Viewers on the second day turned out to be 5% less than the first, and the average audience decreased by 9% — as a result, the Hours Watched number also fell a bit (-8%). However, the drop in indicators seems quite logical, considering that the first days of the competition always turn out to be one of the most successful throughout events.
On the second day, the statistics of the Portuguese language dropped significantly: compared to the first day, the Average Viewers number fell by 37%, and the Peak Viewers decreased by as much as 45%. At the same time, there were more Spanish-speaking and Russian-speaking viewers on the broadcasts, and audiences from Poland and Vietnam increased as well.
Moreover, it can be noted that on the second day of the major, CS:GO records by Peak Viewers were updated on Mongolian and Bosnian broadcasts.
