Top esports events to watch in Q4 2025

The fourth quarter is always the busiest time in esports, as most major titles host their season finales and world championships. By November, the top teams in Honor of Kings, League of Legends, Free Fire, Call of Duty, Valorant, and other major titles will have emerged.

In this article, Esports Charts has rounded up the biggest esports tournaments of Q4 2025. Ahead, 20 unique tournaments will take place, with tens of millions of dollars in prize money up for grabs.

King Pro League Grand Finals 2025 (Honor of Kings)

  • Date: Sep 28 - Nov 8, 2025;

  • Prize: $9,800,000;

  • Location: China (Beijing, Changsha, Chengdu). 

The KPL is China’s premier Honor of Kings league, showcasing the region’s top-ranked teams. While the season kicked off in late September, the majority of matches — including the finals — are set for Q4 2025. Players will compete for a massive ¥70 million prize pool (around $9.8 million), making it the largest in esports for 2025.

World Series of Warzone 2025 - Global Finals (Call of Duty: Warzone)

  • Date: Oct 1, 2025;

  • Prize: $1,000,000;

  • Location: Las Vegas.

The World Series of Warzone Global Finals was the culminating event and World Championship of the 2025 Competitive Warzone Season, organized by Activision. The top 50 teams from throughout the year were invited, with the best squads from Europe, North America, and South America coming together in Las Vegas to compete for a $1 million prize pool. 2025 World Championship (League of Legends)

  • Date: Oct 14 - Nov 9, 2025;

  • Prize: $5,000,000;

  • Location: China (Chengdu, Shanghai, Beijing).

The 2025 World Championship will crown the best LoL esports team of the year, featuring top contenders from the LCK, LPL, LEC, and other regional leagues. Gen.G, Bilibili Esports, and T1 are seen as the front-runners, though several other strong teams could shake up the competition. Experts predict that the 2025 World Championship has a strong chance of becoming the most-popular esports tournament in history.

Halo World Championship 2025 (Halo Infinite)

  • Date: Oct 24-26, 2025;

  • Prize: $1,000,000;

  • Location: USA (Seattle, Washington).

The Halo World Championship 2025 will feature top teams competing in Halo Infinite 4v4 for a $1 million prize pool, plus a Free-For-All (FFA) side event worth $25,000. Beyond the competition, the event promises a full fan experience. From dev panels, cosplay contests, side tournaments, and appearances from Halo voice actors, it's both a showcase for competitive play and community celebration.

Marvel Rivals Ignite 2025: Grand Finals (Marvel Rivals)

  • Date: Oct 27 - Nov 2, 2025;

  • Prize: $1,000,000;

  • Location: Atlanta.

The Marvel Rivals Ignite 2025 Grand Finals is the culminating event in the competitive Marvel Rivals esports circuit, set to take place at DreamHack Atlanta from October 27 to November 2, 2025.

Twelve elite teams — qualified through the Stage 2 regional competitions — will face off in group stages (October 27–29) followed by playoffs and the final matches at Georgia World Congress Centre. The prize pool for the Grand Finals is $1 million, making it the most prestigious and high-stakes event in the 2025 Marvel Rivals season. 

Clash Royale League 2025 World Finals (Clash Royale)

  • Date: Oct 31 - Nov 2, 2025; 

  • Prize: $500,000;

  • Location: Atlanta.

The CRL 2025 World Finals is the highlight event of the 2025 Clash Royale competitive season, organized by Supercell. Twelve top players earn their spots via a mix of Golden Ticket events, performance on the season Leaderboard, the Last Chance Qualifier, and a Chinese regional event. They’ll battle across multiple days, from opening ceremony through to the Grand Final on November 2.  

Clash of Clans World Championship 2025 (Clash of Clans)

  • Date: Oct 31 - Nov 2, 2025; 

  • Prize: Prize: $700,000;

  • Location: Atlanta.

The Clash of Clans World Championship 2025 is the season-ending, in-person finale of the 2025 CoC esports cycle, organized by Supercell. Eight top teams, qualified via monthly qualifiers, regional events, and a Last Chance Qualifier, will battle it out in a double-elimination bracket to become world champion. The total prize pool is $700,000, with the top prize being $300,000.  

The format builds on the 2024 structure: teams compete in monthly competitions, in-game ladder phases, and regional qualifiers. A “Golden Ticket” system lets the best performers secure direct spots in the World Finals, while others fight through last-chance brackets.

Free Fire World Series - Global Finals 2025 (Free Fire)

  • Date: Oct 31 - Nov 15, 2025;

  • Prize: $1,000,000;

  • Location: Jakarta.

Organized by publisher Garena. Free Fire World Series – Global Finals 2025 is the culminating international tournament of the 2025 competitive season for the mobile game Free Fire. It features 18 teams from various regions around the world competing in an elimination/knockout stage. The prize pool is $1 million. Matches will be broadcast on official Free Fire esports channels in many languages, enabling global viewers to follow the event.  

Trackmania World Cup 2025 (Trackmania)

  • Date: Nov 1, 2025;

  • Prize: €18,000;

  • Location: Paris.

The Trackmania World Cup 2025 is the culminating event of the Trackmania World Tour 2025 — a global 2v2 team-racing competition. The World Cup features 4 elite teams with the top duo of the three regional rankings (EMEA, NCSA, APAC) and one Wildcard: the highest-performing team in Global Playoffs #2 that has not already qualified via regionals.

FIDE World Chess Cup 2025 (Chess)

  • Date: Nov 1-26, 2025;

  • Prize: $2,000,000;

  • Location: Goa.

The FIDE World Cup 2025 is a major knockout chess tournament, scheduled from 1 to 26 November 2025 in Goa, India. It features 206 players in a single-elimination format across 8 rounds. The top three finishers will earn direct qualification to the 2026 Candidates Tournament, which determines the challenger for the World Chess Championship. Matches are typically structured with two classical games per round; if tied, tie-breaks in faster time controls decide the winner. The event offers a prize fund of $2 millions. 

Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2025 (CoD Mobile)

  • Date: Nov 7-9, 2025;

  • Prize: $850,000;

  • Location: Katowice.

The Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2025 is the premier global event of the CODM competitive season, organized by Activision and featuring the world’s best teams battling for a $850,000 prize pool. The championship culminates with the World Finals in Katowice, Poland. From November 7 to 9, 2025, the 16 top CODM esports teams from around the world compete for the title. 

The event follows a multi-stage structure, starting with solo and team qualifiers and progressing through regional playoffs that determine who advances to the finals. The CODM World Championship 2025 stands as one of the most anticipated events in the mobile esports calendar.

BLAST R6 Major Munich 2025 (Rainbow Six)

  • Date: Nov 8-16, 2025;

  • Prize: $750,000;

  • Location: Munich.

The BLAST R6 Major Munich 2025 is a major international Rainbow Six Siege tournament organized by BLAST and Ubisoft, set to take place from November 8 to 16, 2025 at the BMW Park Arena in Munich, Germany. 

Sixteen of the world’s top Rainbow Six esports teams, representing North America, South America, Europe/MENA, and APAC, will compete for a $750,000 prize pool through a group stage followed by playoffs and the grand final. The event serves as one of the most important competitions in the Rainbow Six Siege esports calendar and offers teams a chance to secure their spot in the Six Invitational 2026.

VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025 (Valorant)

  • Date: Nov 20-30, 2025;

  • Prize: $500,000;

  • Location: Seoul.

The VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025 is the premier international tournament celebrating women and other marginalized genders in competitive Valorant esports, organized by Riot Games. Scheduled from November 20 to 30, 2025, the event will be held at LoL Park in Seoul, South Korea. 

It will feature 10 top-tier teams from regions including North America, EMEA, APAC, China, Brazil, and Latin America, all vying for supremacy in the Game Changers circuit. Teams have earned their spots through victories at major regional events and by accumulating the highest circuit points. The tournament serves as the culmination of the 2025 Game Changers series, highlighting the most skilled women in Valorant. 

StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 (Counter-Strike)

  • Date: Nov 24 - Dec 14, 2025;

  • Prize: $1,250,000;

  • Location: Budapest.

The StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 is a premier Counter-Strike 2 tournament organized by StarLadder, scheduled to take place from November 24 to December 14, 2025, in Budapest, Hungary. This event marks Hungary's debut as a host for a Major tournament, featuring 32 of the world's top CS2 esports teams competing for a $1.25 million prize pool. 

The tournament will unfold across two iconic venues: the MTK Sportpark, which will host the first three stages, and the MVM Dome, Hungary’s largest indoor arena, which will host playoffs. The event will be held in front of live audiences, offering fans an immersive experience with state-of-the-art stage design, lighting, and audiovisual technology. 

PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025 (PUBG Mobile)

  • Date: Nov 24 - Dec 14, 2025;

  • Prize: $1,500,000;

  • Location: Bangkok.

The PUBG Global Championship 2025 (PGC 2025) is a major international battle royale tournament featuring 33 of the best PUBG esports teams from around the world. It runs from November 24 to December 14, 2025, with group and last-stages held at CentralWorld PULSE in Bangkok, Thailand, and the grand finals at Siam Paragon. The prize pool is at least $1.5 million, boosted further via a Pick’Em crowdfunding system.

Overwatch Champions Series 2025 World Finals (Overwatch)

  • Date: Nov 26-30, 2025;

  • Prize: $500,000;

  • Location: Stockholm.

The Overwatch Champions Series 2025 World Finals is the culminating event of the 2025 OWCS season, showcasing the top Overwatch 2 esports teams from around the globe. Scheduled from November 26 to November 30, 2025, the tournament will be held at Stockholm's Stockholmsmässan during DreamHack Stockholm. The event will feature a double-elimination bracket, with matches taking place online on November 26 and 27, followed by in-person competition at DreamHack Stockholm from November 28 to 30.  

Teams have qualified through regional competitions in North America, EMEA, and Asia, with the top performers advancing to the World Finals. The tournament will be streamed live on official platforms, offering fans worldwide the opportunity to witness the pinnacle of Overwatch 2 esports. 

Brawl Stars World Finals 2025 (Brawl Stars)

  • Date: Nov 28-30, 2025;

  • Prize: $1,000,000;

  • Location: Stockholm.

The Brawl Stars World Finals 2025 is the premier event in the Brawl Stars esports calendar, organized by Supercell. Scheduled from November 28 to 30, 2025, the tournament will take place at DreamHack Stockholm in Stockholm, Sweden. A total of 16 top teams from around the world will compete for a $1 million prize pool, with the champions receiving $400,000, the runners-up earning $200,000, and the third and fourth-place teams each securing $80,000. The event will be held in front of a live audience, offering fans an immersive experience. For those unable to attend in person, the tournament will be streamed live on official platforms. The Brawl Stars World Finals 2025 promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the 2025 esports season, showcasing the best Brawl Stars teams globally.

PUBG Global Championship 2025 (PUBG: Battlegrounds)

  • Date: Nov 28 - Dec 14, 2025;

  • Prize: $1,500,000;

  • Location: Bangkok.

The PUBG Global Championship 2025 (PGC 2025) is the premier PUBG esports event, featuring 33 top teams competing for a $1.5 million prize pool in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 28 to December 14, 2025. The tournament includes a Group Stage, Last Stage, and Grand Finals, with teams qualifying through regional events, the PUBG Global Series, and a Wild Card slot. Top teams from regions including China, Brazil, EUMENA, and North America will compete across group stages and finals, making it one of the most important events on the CrossFire competitive calendar.

Teamfight Tactics Paris Open (Teamfight Tactics)

  • Date: Dec 12-14, 2025;

  • Prize: $311,000;

  • Location: Paris.

The Teamfight Tactics Paris Open 2025 is the premier event in the Teamfight Tactics esports calendar, organized by Riot Games. Scheduled from December 12 to 14, 2025, it will be held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, France. The tournament features 768 competitors and boasts a prize pool exceeding $311,000, with the champion receiving $100,000.

Scheduled from December 15 to 19, 2025, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this event brings together the world's top national teams to compete for a $250,000 prize pool.

The tournament follows a structured format, beginning with regional online qualifiers that determine the top teams from various regions. Each participating nation can nominate up to six players, with a maximum of three players and a coach advancing to the finals.
