Top esports organizations 2025: Most-watched & best teams
#10 Natus Vincere
The Ukrainian organization Natus Vincere once again reaffirmed its status as one of the most popular esports clubs in the world. In 2025, the combined total watch time across all of its rosters grew by 35.7%, reaching 109.4 million Hours Watched (HW).
A significant part of the organization’s growth came from Natus Vincere’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang roster. In the spring, the organization acquired Rebellion Esports’ slot and began competing in the MPL Indonesia. While the team has yet to achieve major competitive success, its matches across two seasons have generated over 22 million HW — an excellent result by any standard.

The organization’s most popular asset remains its Counter-Strike team. In 2025, NAVI competed actively on the international stage, but its only title came at the StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025. The team also reached the playoffs at two Majors, a respectable result considering its inconsistent performances and ongoing roster changes.
Overall, the club generated around 60 million HW across Counter-Strike tournaments. The organization added roughly another 12 million HW from Dota 2, as the NAVI tag returned to The International — the most important tournament of the season — for the first time in several years.
#9 Rex Regum Qeon
The Indonesian organization Rex Regum Qeon finished in the top 10 of the annual rankings with a total of 118.4 million HW. Compared to 2024, this figure declined by 7.5%, causing the club to drop three spots in the standings. Even so, RRQ remains in a strong position, backed by a powerful brand in Southeast Asia — one of the fastest-growing regions in global esports.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang remains the primary battleground for Rex Regum Qeon — it was in this title that the club built itself into an international brand. RRQ was a dominant force in the early seasons of MPL Indonesia and, alongside EVOS Esports, formed one of the region’s most iconic rivalries.

While the team’s competitive results have declined over time, the organization’s massive popularity has remained intact. Even today, standard RRQ matches often attract more viewers than high-stakes playoff games featuring other teams.
In 2025, a standout achievement for RRQ was reaching the final of MPL Indonesia Season 15. The team put on an impressive performance against ONIC Esports, narrowly losing the series 3:4. The match attracted 4.1 million Peak Viewers, making it the second-most-popular esports event of 2025.
#8 Team Vitality
The French organization Team Vitality made its debut in our year-end top 10 rankings. In 2025, it amassed 125.5 million HW, with over 90 million of those coming from the success of its Counter-Strike roster, which delivered an outstanding season.
Team Vitality fields rosters in multiple games, but it was Dan “apEX” Madesclaire’s squad that truly stood out in 2025. The team arguably had one of the most impressive seasons in Counter-Strike history, winning nine international tournaments, including BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 and StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, as well as the ESL Grand Slam Season 5, which awarded them $1 million in prize money. In total, Team Vitality’s roster earned nearly $3.8 million from Counter-Strike tournaments in a single year — an achievement unmatched by any other team in the game’s history.

Other notable achievements for Team Vitality came from their Bigetron by Vitality roster competing in the MPL Indonesia, the region’s most popular Mobile Legends: Bang Bang league. Additionally, Team Vitality’s women’s squad claimed victory at the MLBB Women’s Invitational 2025 in Riyadh, further boosting the organization’s overall viewership numbers. Combined, the team’s MLBB rosters generated approximately 40 million HW in 2025.
#7 Team Spirit
Team Spirit held onto seventh place in the rankings, the same position it occupied in 2024. Over the past year, the organization’s various rosters generated over 136.5 million HW across esports broadcasts — an increase of 24.7% compared to the previous year’s ranking.
Team Spirit had a particularly strong year in Counter-Strike, winning BLAST Premier Bounty Season 1 2025 and BLAST Premier Bounty Season 2 2025, as well as claiming titles at PGL Astana 2025 and IEM Cologne 2025. The team also reached the playoffs at the two Majors. Meanwhile, Team Spirit’s Dota 2 roster achieved a notable victory at the Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh.

Team Spirit earned the majority of its viewership hours in 2025 from its Counter-Strike and Dota 2 performances. Additionally, the organization had notable results in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, with its roster competing against top teams in the playoffs of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2025.
#6 Gen.G Esports
The Korean organization Gen.G Esports made the year-end rankings once again, though its performance dipped slightly. In 2024, the team recorded 155.7 million HW and held fourth place, but by the end of 2025, it had dropped to sixth with 142.7 million HW. That said, the gap between Gen.G and the teams around it in the rankings was minimal, so the change in position isn’t particularly significant.
Gen.G’s League of Legends roster attracted the largest fan following for the organization. In recent years, the team has been a top performer in Korea’s LCK, and in 2025, it first won the LCK 2025 Road to MSI and the Mid-Season Invitational 2025, claimed first place at the Esports World Cup 2025, and then captured the LCK 2025 Season title, coming just one step shy of the 2025 World Championship final. Unfortunately, KT Rolster stood in their way and prevented them from securing the ultimate trophy.

Gen.G’s League of Legends roster generated 118.4 million HW in 2025. Their Valorant team was the second most popular, amassing around 18.6 million HW despite not securing any major titles. Additionally, Gen.G’s PUBG roster delivered a strong performance, finishing second at the Esports World Cup 2025.
#5 ONIC Esports
ONIC Esports ranked among the top 10 most-watched esports clubs of 2025, totaling 142.8 million HW. Unlike many other organizations, ONIC does not field teams across a wide range of esports titles, but it boasts two exceptionally strong Mobile Legends: Bang Bang rosters competing in MPL Indonesia and MPL Philippines.
In 2025, ONIC Esports ID had an outstanding year in its home league, claiming championships in both MPL Indonesia Season 15 and Season 16. Meanwhile, ONIC Esports PH triumphed at the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series: Mobile Masters 2025, reached the finals of MPL Philippines Season 15, and earned a bronze medal at the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2025.

ONIC has become one of the most successful esports brands in Southeast Asia. Thanks to the immense popularity of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, the club’s participation in local leagues generates viewership numbers that teams in other titles often can’t achieve, even at major international tournaments.
#4 G2 Esports
In 2025, G2 Esports’ rosters collectively amassed over 143.6 million HW, securing fourth place for the organization in the rankings. The previous year saw slightly higher numbers — around 175 million HW — which had earned them third place.
League of Legends remained G2 Esports’ primary focus in 2025. Caps and his roster had an active season in the European LEC, winning the LEC Summer 2025 and competing in all the major international tournaments. The team reached the playoffs at both the Mid-Season Invitational 2025 and the 2025 World Championship, generating approximately 51.2 million HW for the organization.

G2 Esports’ Counter-Strike and Valorant teams also contributed significantly to the organization’s overall viewership. In Riot Games’ shooter, G2 won VCT 2025: Americas Kickoff, followed by victories in both seasons of VCT 2025: Americas. The team also reached the final of VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025, falling to T1, and finished fourth at VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025.
#3 Team Falcons
In 2024, Team Falcons finished eighth in a similar ranking, but by the end of 2025, the organization had broken into the top three most popular esports teams. Over the year, its rosters collectively generated 172.7 million HW — almost double the organization’s total from the previous year.
Team Falcons has become one of the fastest-growing organizations in esports, adding new players each year. At the Esports World Cup 2025, Team Falcons’ teams competed in 22 different tournaments — a record for the series. This high level of participation, combined with their victory in the Overwatch 2 tournament, helped the organization secure first place in the EWC Club Championship, outperforming all other clubs.

In 2025, Team Falcons’ Counter-Strike roster was their most-watched team, generating around 68.8 million hours viewed. Nikola “NiKo” Kovač’s squad finished in the top three at ten international tournaments, reached six finals, but secured victory only at the PGL Bucharest 2025.
Team Falcons’ Dota 2 roster also deserves recognition for its 2025 performance. The team generated approximately 59.8 million HW, but its standout achievement was winning The International 2025, the most prestigious tournament of the Dota 2 season.
#2 Team Liquid
Team Liquid claimed second place in the rankings, amassing 184.3 million HW. It is one of the oldest and most respected esports organizations in Europe, having entered the industry over 20 years ago and since then building an extensive ecosystem around its brand.
Team Liquid has essentially become its own subculture within esports. The organization operates multiple training facilities worldwide, fields numerous teams across mobile and PC games, maintains a dedicated roster of official streamers and content creators, runs its own media platforms and tournaments, has a clothing line, and much more. With such a comprehensive approach, it’s no surprise that Team Liquid has remained one of the most popular esports organizations globally for many years.

In 2025, Team Liquid’s Dota 2 roster was the most-watched team for the organization, generating around 40.5 million HW. The team competed actively in tournaments worldwide throughout the year, with its highlights including victories in two seasons of the PGL Wallachia.
Team Liquid also had notable successes during the summer series of the Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh. The organization’s players claimed first place at the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2025, the EA Sports FC 25 championship, and even the chess tournament, where Norwegian grandmaster Magnus Carlsen represented the club.
#1 Т1
The most popular esports organization of 2025 was T1. Over the course of the year, the Korean club’s rosters collectively generated more than 228 million HW — approximately 7.5% more than the previous year, when T1 also led a similar ranking.
T1 maintains its lead in the club rankings thanks to the exceptional performance of its League of Legends roster. In 2025, matches featuring Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok’s team generated 196 million HW — roughly 86% of the organization’s total viewership. This impressive contribution was largely driven by T1’s victory at the 2025 World Championship, the premier tournament of the League of Legends season. Notably, T1 has been recognized as the world’s top team at the Worlds for three consecutive years and has claimed six championship trophies in the series overall.

T1’s League of Legends roster currently holds multiple viewership records, with the standout being its dominance in peak viewership. During the final of the 2024 World Championship against Bilibili Gaming, the match was watched live by 6,856,769 viewers simultaneously (current record in esports).
T1 also fields a Valorant team, which claimed the VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025 title. The Korean organization actively competes in PUBG, Overwatch, and other titles, and has representatives in fighting games such as Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8. Nevertheless, the organization’s flagship roster remains its League of Legends team.
