OhnePixel dominated co-streaming peak viewership at Valorant Champions 2025 ahead of tarik, FNS, & others

OhnePixel dominated co-streaming peak viewership at Valorant Champions 2025 ahead of tarik, FNS, & others

Valorant Champions 2025 concluded in Paris last weekend, crowning NRG Esports as the newest world champion for the title. The exciting grand finals featuring the North American organization against Fnatic attracted over 1.47M Peak Viewers and was one of the most popular Champions events ever.

Contributing significantly towards the overall results of the tournament, co-streaming is continuing to become more important than ever for Valorant esports. Valorant Champions 2025 saw a majority of its viewership come from co-streamers rather than official broadcasts, and included a new star appearance from German content creator Mark “ohnePixel” Zimmermann, who is known for his Counter-Strike 2 content.

In total, of the 47.58M Hours Watched generated by Valorant Champions, 58.4% came from co-streamers. While co-streaming has previously competed with official broadcasts in Valorant and sometimes taken the lead, this marked one of the largest gaps between these two sectors.

North American streamer and ex-pro Pujan “FNS Mehta was the most-watched co-streamer for Valorant Champions 2025, wracking up 3.87M Hours Watched across both Twitch and YouTube. Since retiring, he has become a major fan of Asian organization PRX, cheering them on and developing a major audience for himself with their fans on YouTube. Naturally, he also was a favored co-streamer by all Valorant fans who wanted to follow NRG Esports’ heroic playoffs run with one of their former players.

Valorant Champions 2025 community casting viewership results

Following FNS, North American creator Tarik “tarik” Celik was also majorly popular, earning over 2.2M Hours Watched for his event coverage. While tarik was previously the undisputed king of Valorant co-streaming viewership, his chokehold on Valorant esports broadcasting has faltered slightly, although he remains a star of the scene. Other popular co-streamers included former Sentinels player Sacy, Japanese streamer and player for ZETA DIVISION Lazvell, and Spain’s Mixwell.

German creator ohnePixel led the crowd in terms of Peak Viewers (PV) by a significant margin, with 146K PV on Twitch. Ohne only tuned in the final game day matches of the tournament, leading to an overall lower Hours Watched result, but quickly found fans in Valorant’s community. By the time of finals, he received a warm welcome for his energetic and open-minded coverage.

Most popular co-streamers of Valorant Champions 2025 by peak concurrent viewers

Despite being a hard-core Counter-strike fan and an established creator within the tactical shooter, OhnePixel’s love of esports and competition has seen him make the jump into Valorant, too. His coverage of the tournament offered the interesting perspective of a relative newcomer to the scene. That isn’t to say that Ohne had no idea how the game itself works, but that the esports side of Valorant offered no shortage of surprises for him.

His genuine enthusiasm and willingness to learn more about Valorant esports saw Ohne rapidly build up an audience for the tournament. For the grand finals day, he maintained over 70,000 Average Viewers for over six hours of broadcasting time. While other top creators like FNS and tarik earned their own sizable audiences for the grand finals, no single Valorant streamer could come close to the excitement behind Ohne’s Champions experience.

OhnePixel's most popular Counter-Strike and Valorant Major coverage

Compared to OhnePixel’s other co-streaming coverage for Counter-Strike Majors, his coverage of Valorant was massively successful for his first try. His peak viewership during the grand finals outperformed his total peak for last year’s Shanghai Major, and although it fell behind his most popular moments at the Austin and Copenhagen Majors, his Champions 2025 is a promising start for who could become a bridge between Valorant and Counter-Strike communities.

Valorant Champions 2025 was one of the most popular tournaments of the year, and a strong addition to Valorant’s storied legacy of electrifying esports events. Each year, co-streamers and official broadcasts from all over the world convene to host an international spectacle, and 2025 in particular, saw a strong boost from co-casters and engaged fans.
