Esports Charts has compiled overall viewership statistics for all national and regional Valorant Challengers 2023 Split 2 leagues. We found that these leagues have similar ratios of official broadcasts and community casting, as do the discipline's major affiliate leagues.

In 2023, Riot Games completely rebuilt the Valorant esports scene, forming three affiliate leagues — the EMEA, Americas, and Pacific. Each league includes 10 teams from their respective regions, which compete for the most prestigious titles in the world championships. To develop the tier-2 scene, Riot Games has launched Valorant Challengers leagues — these are separate championships for countries/regions where local teams compete. For example, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, France, and others have their own leagues. The strongest members of the Valorant Challengers leagues represent their countries in an international Ascension promotion tournament, from which they can get into the aforementioned affiliate leagues.

Valorant Challengers of the Pacific division have surpassed the Americas and EMEA divisions in terms of total Hours Watched. In addition, Pacific was the only division where official broadcasts were more popular than broadcasts by community casters in terms of total watch time.

All Valorant Challengers leagues in the Pacific division totaled 9.9 million Hours Watched. This number includes the national leagues in South Korea, Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan, and more, as well as official broadcasts and all of the community casters. The Valorant Challengers leagues of the Americas division, including leagues in Brazil, North America, and Latin America, are in second place with 7.3 million Hours Watched. As for the EMEA division, all European leagues totaled slightly under 4.4 million HW

When it comes to the ratios of official broadcasts and community casting, each league was quite diverse in terms of watch parties. Taking average proportions for each division, official broadcasts accounted for the majority of Hours Watched in in Pacific countries, while there was a clear shift in favor of the community streamers in two other regions. As turned out, viewership is similar to higher division, Valorant Champions Tour 2023 partner leagues.

Most popular channels at VCT 2023 Challengers Split 2 Leagues

Tarik — whose channel is by far the most-watched one among all VCT Challengers broadcasts — was the English-language channel in the Top 5 of the most-watched Valorant Challengers league community streamers. Interestingly, the leader among all the channels in terms of Peak Viewers was a streamer from France.

When it comes to official broadcasts, the Top 5 most popular Valorant Challengers channels include three from Pacific League. Americas and EMEA divisions have one each at the top, one from Twitch and the other one from YouTube Gaming.

The overall statistics on the Valorant Challengers highlighted the Pacific region and its key differences from the EMEA and Americas divisions. The culture of watching esports content in Southeast Asia suggests that most local viewers prefer to watch official broadcasts rather than independent streamers. In America and Europe we observe the opposite situation, when the biggest audience is gathered by community casters.

An international Valorant event is ongoin in Japan. VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo takes place is held from June 11 to June 25, with a total prize pool of one million dollars. You can follow the tournament and current viewership statistics on the tournament's coverage page.
