Update: Despite the fact that some streamers were eliminated, Day 2 was marked by even more viewers on the broadcasts of the tournament. The event was watched by up to 1 059 695 viewers on January 20. It's not only new record for Twitch Rivals, but also a 3rd results by Spanish language among all the competitive gaming events. Only two Free Fire tournaments had more Spanish-speaking viewers at peak.

January 19th marked the start of a new streamer tournament in the Twitch Rivals series called Squidcraft Games ft. Komanche. The event was hosted by Komanche; together with well-known Spanish streamers Rubius and Auronplay he created Squidcraft Games – a mode for Minecraft based on the popular Squid Game TV series. The tournament brought together all the top Spanish-speaking content creators, and also set a new record for the series in terms of audience.

150 streamers participate in Squidcraft Games ft. Komanche including Komanche, Rubius, Auronplay, Ibai, TheGrefg, AriGameplays, IlloJuan, Cristinini, and many more. The event will run until January 24 inclusive, with two matches being played every day (12 in total). The winners advance and the losers are eliminated from the tournament. The entire prize pool of $100K will be awarded to the last remaining player.

28 streamers left the event at the end of the first gaming day, including El Mariana, Perxitaa, nanisimo, and tvandeR. The full list of active and eliminated participants can be found on the tournament page.

The tournament attracted over 1 million Peak Viewers on the first day, which was the highest result in the series. It managed to break the previous record set by Twitch Rivals VALORANT by more than 200K viewers.

Auronplay became the most viewed streamer of the first day of Twitch Rivals Squidcraft Games ft. Komanche by a wide margin. His broadcast collected 431.3K Hours Watched and attracted 219K Peak Viewers.

The second spot in terms of viewer activity was taken by ibai. Viewers spent a total of 199.6K hours on his stream, and the Peak Viewers indicator reached 105.2K people.

When it comes to the elxokas channel, it collected 20% fewer Hours Watched (161K) and attracted 96.4K Peak Viewers.

Despite having just only started, Twitch Rivals Squidcraft Games ft. Komanche has already set a record for Peak Viewers. The format of the tournament is such that the number of participants and channels covering the event will decrease every day. Therefore, it is unlikely that it will be possible to attract even more Peak Viewers.
