The Americas regional league also got off to a good start, peaking at over 62,000 viewers as teams battled for a chance to advance to the new circuit's finals.

Thailand has joined Myanmar as the second region to launch the MSL series, which aims to expand the professional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang ecosystem and give rosters from countries without their own MPL leagues a pathway to top-tier competition. Across two splits in the year, the teams can earn spots in the early stages of the MLBB Mid Season Cup or even qualify for the MLBB World Championship.
The MSL Thailand received an investment of ฿10,000,000 (~$303,648) for the first season, which was to cover social media growth, community building and expansion, team incentives, the watch party program and the prize pool.

While the participants, including names like Alpha7 Esports, Leviatán and 9z Team, will come from North America, Central America, Latin America, and Brazil, the official demarcation for this regional league has been done as Group North and Group South. North will have sides from North America and Latin America North, while the South split will see South American sides duke it out.
These two splits will have eight sides each, with the top two reaching the MCT AMER finals, where they will face off in a straightforward single-elimination bracket. Even though this first-of-its-kind MLBB tournament will feature only four teams in the finals, that doesn't mean it holds no significance.
After all, the winner will qualify for the Main Stage of the MSC 2026, which will take the spotlight as part of the Esports World Cup 2026. Meanwhile, the runner-up will take its place as one of the Wildcard combatants at the mid-season major.
