The LEC Summer 2026 saw G2 Esports maintain its recent dominance and clinch its fourth straight League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) crown. According to Esports Charts, the Grand Final reached almost 435K Peak Viewers, falling by 8.13% from the 2025 summer split and representing the series' lowest peak concurrent viewership numbers since 2024.
LEC Summer 2026 viewership statistics

The LEC Summer 2026 peaked at 434,973 viewers during the Grand Final between G2 Esports and KOI. The former emerged as the champion with a comfortable 3:0 win, its fourth straight regional title and 11th win since the start of 2023.
Although top sides like G2 Esports, Karmine Corp, and KOI have consistently done well and shape the LEC's viewership potential, the series continues to grapple with inconsistent viewership. Alongside a drop in Peak Viewers, the 2026 summer split saw its average concurrent viewership numbers drop by 17.9% compared to LEC Summer 2025.

Broader average growth has been an issue for the LEC recently, with the last two splits being the only ones to see below 200K Average Viewers among events tracked by Esports Charts.
Although the number of unique broadcasting channels went up this time, a few prominent streamers did not livestream the action. One such name was Sergio"knekro" García, the Spanish KOI content creator who was among the most popular co-casters at the 2025 summer split and who skipped broadcasting LEC Summer 2026 matches.
Apart from English, other major languages like French and German also suffered dips in peak concurrent viewership, leading to lower top-end results than at the LEC Summer 2025.

Among the six regional qualifiers for the coveted 2026 World Championship (Worlds 2026), the LEC Summer 2026 retained its place as the second-most popular league. Only the LCK 2026 Season did better, with no other circuit passing 200K PV so far (three of them are ongoing, so this could change soon).
