The BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023 kicked off in Copenhagen on November 22. It is one of the last grand Counter-Strike 2 tournaments of the year and one of its intrigues is that many of its participants underwent roster changes on the eve of the event. Natus Vincere are playing for the first time with w0nderful, a young Ukrainian sniper who is replacing s1mple. Earlier this month, Magisk left Team Vitality's roster, and around the same time, Boombl4 became the new captain of Cloud9, replacing sh1ro. Similar situations are seen with Ninjas in Pyjamas and Heroic, who are performing with stand-ins.

The first encounter between Cloud9 and Natus Vincere after the major July reshuffle was the highlight of the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023 Group Stage. Currently, three former NAVI players — Perfecto, electroNic, and Boombl4 — are competing for Cloud9. The match gathered over 235K Peak Viewers with Cloud9 emerging victorious with a score of 2:1.

At the moment, Cloud9 is leading among the teams in total Hours Watched and the Average Viewers per match. However, this was greatly influenced by its matchups, as the team played against two very popular teams, FaZe Clan and Natus Vincere. Interestingly, the series between Cloud9 and FaZe Clan attracted the most viewers in the Group Stage — 273.1K PV.

FaZe Clan continues to demonstrate confident play and fully justify its leadership in the world rankings. In the Group Stage of the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023, Karrigan's team managed to extend its winning streak to 17 matches. The last time it lost was in October at IEM Sydney 2023 against GamerLegion. Currently, FaZe Clan has three consecutive tournament victories under its belt, and soon it may add a fourth to that tally.

In group B, the most interesting confrontation was the Danish derby between Heroic and Astralis. The rivalry between these teams has been going on for many years, and was spiced up recently with stavn & Jabbi drama. The match became more exciting by the fact that this time it took place at the "home arena" in Copenhagen. In the end, Heroic managed to defeat Astralis with a score of 2:0, making a fantastic comeback in the first map and winning the additional rounds in the second.

Compared to previous events, the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023 has gathered more viewers at the start than last year's Fall Final 2022. However, the current tournament significantly lagged behind the start of the Spring Final 2023. A similar situation occurred last year, the Spring Final also attracted more viewers than the Autumn one.

Four participants of the Fall Final 2023 have already secured their spots in the World Final 2023, so they are essentially battling for prizes. These teams are Natus Vincere, Heroic, FaZe Clan, and Team Vitality.
