BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2022 tournaments in Europe and America ended last weekend. The events' participants battled for the BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022 slots as well as the prize pool. In a new Esports Charts article, we sum up the results of these events.

The language contributed more than 19% of the Fall European Showdown 2022's HW, mainly owing to the broadcasts of the popular Brazilian streamer Gaules.

Fall American Showdown 2022 also featured eight teams. Only Complexity and Evil Geniuses took part in the event as Fall Groups participants, while 00 Nation, MIBR and Sharks Esports received direct invitates and VERTEX Esports Club, LOS + oNe and Fluxo earned their slots in qualifiers.

As one can see, there were many prominent teams in the tournament, but it was Fluxo that became the champion, the squad which was signed by the organization in August 2022. The roster barely beat Evil Geniuses in the quarterfinals, then defeated 00Nation in the Semi-finals and took down MIBR in the Grand Final. The victory brought Fluxo a slot in the BLAST Premier Fall Season finals and also $20K, a record prize money in the lineup's history. It should be noted that the founders of this esports organization are popular YouTubers NOBRU and CEROL.

Fall American Showdown 2022 matches totaled slightly fewer than 1.8 million HW and drew 72.5K AV. The event saw a PV number of 113.2K people at the Evil Geniuses vs. Fluxo quarterfinals match. The Grand Final ranks second by this metric, attracting 12% fewer PV.

Evil Geniuses became the most popular team of the American tournament, as it was followed by 94K PV at its single match. Fluxo comes second by this metric, but takes the lead by HW with over 55% of the tournament's total. Brazil's MIBR, 00Nation and Sharks are also among the Top 5 teams by AV.

The most popular broadcast language is Portuguese, which accumulated 58% of the tournament's HW total. At the same time, the Portuguese-speaking streamer Gaules became the leader by all the viewership metrics among the channels that covered the tournament. His contribution to the HW of the tournament was almost 55%. English is in second place with 32% of total Fall American Showdown 2022's HW.

Viewership statistics of Fall Showdown 2022 tournaments dropped significantly compared to the Spring Season 2022. The European event's PV number dropped by nearly 29%, and the AV number dropped by nearly 34%. The same metrics of the American tournament decreased by 42% and 40%, respectively.

Despite the drop in statistics from the spring, the European BLAST Premier Showdown 2022 still draws more viewers than the American event. It's worth saying that this could have changed if the Fluxo founders had streamed their team's games.
