DH SC2 Masters 2021 Winter: Europe with a prize money pool of $50,000 was held from September 29 to October 17. In 85 hours on air the event generated 1.1 million Hours Watched. The championship was attended by players from Western and Eastern Europe, as well as from the CIS, so it was broadcast in 12 languages.
Broadcasts were held on several platforms, and Twitch was the main one — it had 98% of the total Hours Watched. Viewers of official English-language broadcasts generated the most Hours Watched — 68.5%. French (10.1% of HW) and Russian (6.8% of HW) were in second and third place, respectively.

The most popular match of the winter split in Europe was the game between Joona "Serral" Sotala from Finland and Frenchman Clement "Clem" Desplanches — it had 31.1K Peak Viewers. It was a rematch of the fall split: Clement won in the fall, but Joona took first place in the winter. The final score was 4-1 in favor of the Finnish e-athlete.
Serral attracted the most attention at the tournament. Three of his matches were in the top most popular — 20,7K Average Viewers watched the Zerg victories, making Joona the most popular player of the event.

Compared to the fall split, DH SC2 Masters 2021 Winter in Europe showed almost identical results. The Winter tournament was on air for 2 hours less and lacked 83K Hours Watched. Peak Viewers also dropped by 4K, and the number of Average Viewers dropped by 1,3K.
However, the European event outpaced Latin America along with the Fall Season Finals by a number of metrics. Comparing DH SC2 Masters 2021 Winter and Fall Season Finals, the European winter split had 4% more Peak Viewers.
