May 13, 2025 21 min read

The Esports World Cup 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated events in competitive gaming, uniting elite teams and lucky qualifier winners from around the globe in a massive, multi-title festival. Hosted in Riyadh, the event will showcase top-tier competition across some of the most popular esports titles today, including League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, and many more. With thousands of fans expected to tune in and a record-breaking prize pool on the line, the road to qualification is already heating up.

Each game featured at the Esports World Cup follows a distinct qualification path, ranging from regional and international tournaments to points-based rankings and direct invitations. In this guide, we break down how qualification works for each title, what teams need to watch out for, and which regions are likely to produce the strongest contenders. Whether you're a dedicated esports follower or a fan of a specific game, here's what you need to know about the road to the Esports World Cup 2025.
