Esports World Cup reveals confirmed line-up of games for 2026 iteration
Just a couple of months after the Esports World Cup 2025 concluded, attracting millions of viewers worldwide, we have news on the next iteration. Fans have already been given a glimpse at what to expect next year, as the organizers revealed almost the entire line-up of games for this summer spectacle.
The Esports World Cup 2025 was another record-breaking edition, as every title across the 25 tournaments grew in at least one key metric (watch time or peak concurrent viewership). Although it was shortened from eight to seven weeks, the second edition featured even more titles than 2024.
Riot Games' popular agent shooter, Valorant, and Chess, where top grandmasters represented esports organizations, were among the new additions as fans got to enjoy more content than ever. This helped the Esports World Cup 2025 record a massive jump of 51.3% in its watch time, which clocked in at 183,944,163 Hours Watched.

We also saw a single EWC event surpass the three million concurrent viewers mark for the first time in the competition's history, courtesy of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2025. It is safe to say that this multi-disciplinary series has earned its place as a major fixture in the esports calendar.
With so much success already attained over its first two editions, it was only a matter of time before the organizers revealed news about the next iteration. That was exactly what fans in early October, as the series' official social media handles revealed the line-up of titles that will be part of the Esports World Cup 2026.
For now, there will be 24 titles that will be contested at the EWC 2026, with 21 of these games revealed by the organizers as of October 16, 2025. As a result, fans will once again get to witness action in top-tier titles like League of Legends, Valorant, Dota 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Counter-Strike.
For fans with more specific tastes, niche games like Overwatch 2, Rainbow Six: Siege and Apex Legends will see high-quality action. Of course, we can't forget the various fighting games or the top mobile battle royale shooter, PUBG Mobile.
Last year, apart from Chess and Valorant, we saw the debut of CrossFire and Fatal Fury. It seems there is a similar idea for the 2026 edition, as three titles have not yet been revealed as part of its roster of games.

Perhaps the organizers will slowly disclose these debuting names over the next few months, like they did in 2025. As always, Esports Charts will keep readers updated about any developments regarding the Esports World Cup 2026.
