In May 2024, the esports organization G2 Esports reached a record-breaking milestone in its monthly watch time. The various teams within the organization collectively generated over 30.7 million Hours Watched (excluding Battle Royale games stats), a 15.6% increase from their previous record.
A significant portion of the viewership hours came from two major tournaments. First, G2 Esports delivered a strong performance at the Mid-Season Invitational 2024, finishing in fourth place. This event alone accounted for almost half of the club's total watch time for the month. Additionally, G2's Valorant team significantly contributed by reaching the finals of the VCT 2024: Americas League - Stage 1. Further contributions to their impressive viewership came from participating in VCT 2024: Masters Shanghai, PGL Wallachia Season 1, and IEM Dallas 2024.

The viewership statistics for G2 Esports show that the club's most successful months in terms of watch time are May, October, and November. These months coincide with MSI and Worlds, two international League of Legends tournaments; this consistency highlights the crucial role League of Legends plays for the club. No other title or tournament can match the viewership hours generated by Riot Games' MOBA for G2.
Aside from these three months, G2 also showed strong viewer statistics in February 2022, when they reached the finals of IEM Katowice 2022. That month, the club garnered 18.3 million HW, making it the sixth-highest month in their history. Counter-Strike significantly contributes to the club's statistics. For instance, it substantially boosted the overall team's viewership during the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 and the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. However, despite the influence of Counter-Strike, League of Legends remains the main game for G2.
