M5 World Championship notches highest peak viewership so far thanks to ONIC Esports
The ongoing M5 World Championship has hit a new concurrent viewership mark within the event, with the match between ONIC Esports and See You Soon hitting 1.4M Peak Viewers. This Group Stage encounter between the Indonesian favorite and the Cambodian champion would decide who topped the pool, with the former notching an easy 2:0 win to finish as number one.
This Mobile Legends: Bang Bang event has also done 22.1M Hours Watched and 258.8K Average Viewers so far. With such a good start, one that saw a higher count of unique broadcast channels compared to the previous iteration, things look good for it heading into the subsequent rounds.

So far, only ONIC Esports has sealed its spot in the Knockout Stage with a spotless 3:0 record. It will likely be joined by the likes of See You Soon, AP.Bren Hornets, and Blacklist International in the next round, with all the group matches getting over in the coming days.
With RRQ, the most popular team in the discipline, not participating this year, the M5 World Championship might not meet the usual viewership standards, especially those set last year. ONIC Esports has hence become the de facto attraction when it comes to attracting viewers, so its performances could go a long way in deciding the success of this MLBB tournament.
