Prospects for new records — current statistics of MPL Fall season
Fall esports season in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang kicked off in August. Major regional MPL leagues began in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Brazil, Cambodia and Central Asia. In early September, league games will also begin in Singapore and Latin America. The Esports Charts team tells you about the start of the group stages in the different regions.
Indonesia
The regional league traditionally has the largest audience reach in Indonesia, where Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Bang is particularly popular with gamers. At the time of publication, MPL Indonesia Season 10 matches have accumulated over 25.8 million Hours Watched. The Average Viewers number is 480K people, and the Peak Viewers number has grown to 1.8 million people, it was reached during the RRQ Hoshi vs. EVOS Legends match. We should remind you that last season's PV number reached 2.8 million people, and that happened during the match between EVOS and RRQ as well. There is a chance that these teams may surpass their record during the decisive matches in the playoffs.
As in the previous season, the most popular teams in MPL Indonesia Season 10 are RRQ Hoshi, EVOS Legends and ONIC Esports. They are now the leaders in the standings: EVOS is in first place with a 4:1 series statistic. Second place goes to RRQ Hoshi (4:2), and ONIC Esports (3:2) rounds out the Top-3.

Philippines
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is also very popular in the Philippines, where MPL Philippines Season 10 is currently taking place. The matches of the current season so far have accumulated 7.6 million Hours Watched. The Average Viewers number is 144.3K, and the Peak Viewers number has already reached 513K people during the series between Blacklist International and Nexplay EVOS. In comparison, in Season 9, the maximum online on broadcasts was 626K concurrent viewers, but it was only recorded at the Grand final between Omega Esports and RSG Philippines. On the other days, the PV number did not exceed 472K people.
At the time of publication, the most popular team in MPL Philippines Season 10 is Omega Esports, which was also the leader by this metric last season. But the leadership in the standings is currently held by ONIC Philippines. The reigning regional champion, RSG Philippines, is currently in fifth place out of eight in the standings.
Malaysia
The MPL Malaysia Season 10 matches also kicked off in early August — half of the group stage has now passed. At the time of publication, the regional league has accumulated 2.4 million Hours Watched, drawn 28K Average Viewers, and 106.7K Peak Viewers number was at the Team SMG vs. Team HAQ match. The PV number in the last season was 143K viewers in the Grand final, but on the other days it did not rise above 85K.
As for the tournament results, at the moment the leading teams that showed the best results in the group stage last season are TODAK, Team HAQ (former Orange) and the new Orange squad. As for Hours Watched, Team SMG keeps the unexpected lead. This can be attributed to two reasons: firstly, SMG played with the most popular teams in the league, and secondly, the duration of some games is quite high. One of them even lasted more than half an hour, which is quite rare in MLBB.
Other leagues
Regional leagues have also started in Cambodia, Brazil and the MANA region, but their audience reach is not comparable to the major leagues in Southeast Asia. MPL Cambodia Autumn 2022 has so far amassed 677K Hours Watched. Brazil and MENA have 10 and 20 times fewer, respectively. The leagues in Singapore and Latin America will start September 3.
We will be in a position to sum up the results of the fall season only at the end of October, when all of the regional leagues are over. Nevertheless, we can already see high Peak Viewers numbers in the group stage. This season is already ahead of the last one by this metric, and there's a chance that new records will be set in the final games.
The winners and runners-up in the MLB Fall Regional Leagues will receive a berth in M4 World Championship, scheduled for January 1-15, 2023, in Jakarta. The participants will compete there for a $800K prize pool.
