Sprout ceases operations: what were the most popular matches of the team?
German esports club Sprout has ceased operations after six years of presence on the esports scene, as announced by the organization's management on social media. Financial difficulties and an inability to adapt to a more optimal business model led to the club's closure and its teams' disbandment.
In the message to fans, Sprout noted that the club had nurtured talented players over the years, who gained experience and moved on to other organizations at the peak of their abilities. Unfortunately, this approach resulted in constant roster changes and the loss of valuable progress in various disciplines.
At the same time, Sprout acknowledged that they couldn't afford to transition to a more stable working format due to the significant financial risks involved. On March 25, 2024, the organization disbanded all teams except for the Simracing roster. All players and coaches of the club are now free agents.

At various times, Sprout had teams competing in games like League of Legends, PUBG: Battlegrounds, TrackMania, and other titles, but its Counter-Strike team is considered the most successful, with its matches being the most popular in the club's history. The peak viewership for Sprout was during the ELEAGUE Major 2018, where the German club's games attracted between 370K+ to 460K+ viewers concurrently.
