The first CS:GO major in two years came to an end in early November. The spectators of the tournament were extremely active, which helped it to set several records. In our new Esports Charts article we will tell you about the statistics of other prominent tournaments in CS:GO discipline held in the last month of fall: V4 Future Sports Festival, REPUBLEAGUE Season 2 and DreamHack Open November. Results of the BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2021 results will be overviewed in another article.

V4 Future Sports Festival 2021

V4 Future Sports Festival 2021 was held in Budapest; the event had the biggest prize money pool within the discipline in November (apart from PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and BLAST Fall Finals). Twelve teams including Gambit Esports, BIG and Entropiq competed for $343K. The winner was the nafany-led squad which won $169K.

V4 Future Sports Festival 2021 accumulated 825.4K Hours Watched in 66 hours on air. The tournament matches were watched by 12.5K Average Viewers and 48.5K Peak Viewers.

The most popular languages of the V4 Future Sports Festival 2021 broadcasts were Russian and English. Peak Viewers number at English-language broadcasts was 23.2K people, and 19.9K people at Russian-language broadcasts. Both audiences showed the highest interest in teams from the CIS: the Peak Viewers number was reached during the final between Gambit and Entropiq.

Gambit and Entropiq were also the most popular teams of V4 Future Sports Festival 2021. The nafany squad had the Average Viewers number of 22K spectators, while NickelBack had just 100 less spectators. BIG, Movistar Riders and Team Fiend rounded out the top five with 17K, 11,8K and 11,2K Average Viewers, respectively.

REPUBLEAGUE Season 2

Another big tournament that ended in November was REPUBLEAGUE Season 2, which started back in September. There were 26 teams competing for $114K. Fnatic took first place and won $60K.

REPUBLEAGUE Season 2 was divided into several long stages and as a result it was on air for more than 130 hours. During that time, the tournament had accumulated more than 1.8 million Hours Watched and the Average Viewers number at the event was 13.8K people. Virtus.pro vs. Eternal Fire main stage match attracted 104.2K Peak Viewers.

It is noteworthy that the main languages of REPUBLEAGUE Season 2 were Portuguese and Turkish, while Russian and English did not even make it into the top 3. The peak of Portuguese-speaking broadcasts (89.6K) was at the match between the Brazilian team 00nation and team ECSTATIC from Denmark, while the peak of Turkish streams was reached at the tournament's final between Eternal Fire and Fnatic.

00nation was the most popular REPUBLEAGUE Season 2 team with 83.1K Average Viewers: they received a direct invite to the playoffs, but left the tournament after the first match. The tournament's top five teams also included Virtus.pro, ECSTATIC, GODSENT and Fnatic. The teams had 62K, 47,5K, 38K and 32,6K Average Viewers, respectively.

DreamHack Open November 2021

The other major tournament in November was DreamHack Open November 2021 — it was the most successful in terms of Average Viewers among the compared events. Eight teams, including BIG, Team Spirit and mouz, competed in the championship. The victory went to Fnatic; it is their second title following the October reshuffle within the team.

DreamHack Open November 2021 generated more than 1.5 million Hours Watched in just 40 hours on air. The Average Viewers number at the tournament's matches was 37,9K spectators. The Peak Viewers number was at the tournament's final between BIG and Fnatic — 94,2K people watched the match concurrently.

The most popular team of DreamHack Open November 2021 was Fnatic with 45,7K Average Viewers. Team Spirit took second place with 40,4K Average Viewers, and in third place was ENCE with 38K Average Viewers. The top five was rounded out by MAD Lions, although BIG was also extremely close to the fifth spot: the team was behind the Danes by only 36 viewers.

It should be noted that the second most popular language at the DreamHack Open November 2021 (after English) was Portuguese, although there were no Brazilian teams competing in the tournament. The highest number of Portuguese-speaking viewers (34.6K) was at the match between MAD Lions and mousesports.

Compared with the last tournaments in the series, REPUBLEAGUE Season 2 has increased its statistics. The event had five times more Hours Watched than the previous season, while the Average and Peak Viewers number increased by four and nine times, respectively. That was due to the performance of Turkish and Brazilian e-athletes with a very active fanbase at the championship.

DreamHack Open November 2021 also increased its statistics — Hours Watched, Peak Viewers and Average Viewers of the championship almost doubled. At the same time, V4 Future Sports Festival 2021 statistics decreased significantly. The Peak and Average Viewers number dropped by three times and the Hours Watched number of the tournament was two times less than the previous event in the series had, which was held in 2019.

We should keep in mind that the statistics of the last V4 Future Sports Festival were heavily affected by MIBR, which became the most popular team in the competition. This time, however, there were no Brazilian teams at the event at all — these teams attract a high number of viewers to the tournaments.

The next major CS:GO tournament will be BLAST Premier World Final 2021, the final event from BLAST in 2021. It will take place in December from 14 to 19 and will feature eight teams: Gambit, NAVI, Heroic, G2, NiP, Vitality, Astralis and Team Liquid.
