CIS dream comes true: The International 10 shows record-breaking viewership results
Team Spirit’s miracle run at The International 10 has attracted great attention to the event. Anniversary tournament have not only became the most watched one ever in CIS, but also set several other viewership records along the way. Esports Charts breaks down key stats of TI10.

— Competitive Dota 2 has set a new viewership record: over 2.7M concurrent viewers were following TI10 Grand Finals. It’s 37% more compared to the last event's decisive match when OG faced Team Liquid. It’s also the sixth highest results in the history of esports: only two last Worlds and mobile disciplines are higher.
— Team Spirit’s run in Grand Finals was simultaneously watched by over 1.2M concurrent viewers on Russian-speaking streams (including community casters). It’s the new record for CIS, which is two times better result than the one reached during TI9. Also, TI10 became the most popular esports event in CIS by Hours Watched (41.2M), it’s 52% more than the previous record.
— Dota 2 has updated its Peak Viewers records on two key streaming platforms — Twitch (1.7M) and YouTube (662.4K). Notable, that Facebook was a lesser popular service for TI as its Peak Viewers (114K concurrent viewers) and Hours Watched numbers (3.5M) turned out to be lower than during TI9.
— For the first time ever the audience of TI from CIS was bigger than the number of viewers of official English-language broadcasts (1.2M vs 1M). Peak Viewers number of en-streams was 10K lower than it was at TI9.
— Official Twitch channels dota2ti_ru and dota2ti also updated its records, attracting 813K and 535K concurrent viewers respectively. What's interesting, previous record of Russian-language streams was beaten by 112% (it was held by Maincast's IEM Katowice 2020 stream.
— Team Spirit became the most popular team of the event by Average Viewers (797.9K) and Hours Watched (34.9M). By the latter metric it collected 33% of total Hours Watched of the entire event.
— DotaTV audience reached 188K concurrent viewers during TI10 Grand Final. Previous record was held by TI8 with 186K spectators.
— The International 10 entered the top three most popular esports events in history by Hours Watched metric (over 107M), but it soon will be outrun by Worlds 2021 which ends in November and only losing 7M HW at the time.
