ALGS: 2026 Split 1 Pro League - APAC North ends among region's most popular events
The regional qualifiers for the ALGS: 2026 Split 1 Playoffs ended over the weekend, determining the sides that will battle for one of the battle royale shooter's global titles. The Asia-Pacific (APAC) North league continued to be the leading circuit by viewership, including finishing as the only one to top 100,000 Peak Viewers (PV).

This regional Apex Legends league reached 167,947 Peak Viewers (PV) during Round 10 of the Finals. Take it Easy climbed to the top of the leaderboard with a win here, with a total of nine sides earning slots at the ALGS: 2026 Split 1 Playoffs.
This edition of the APAC North event in the Apex Legends Global Series was the region's second most popular one. The leader is the ALGS: 2022 Split 1 Pro League APAC North, which peaked at 191,493 viewers, driven by the success of Japanese rosters and broadcasts in the language.

The ALGS: 2026 Split 1 Pro League - APAC North also received plenty of attention from community streamers. Most of the channels that put up the highest viewership numbers came from the Japanese language, maintaining its reputation as one of the most crucial markets for Apex Legends esports.
With 160 unique channels broadcasting the action live, the APAC North circuit of the Apex Legends Global Series also averaged the most viewers. It enjoyed over 80,500 Average Viewers (AV) per match, which was almost double the next-best league in the current cycle.

Among the other three regional circuits that acted as qualifiers for the Split 1 Playoffs, the ALGS: 2026 Split 1 Pro League - Americas was the most successful in terms of livestreaming. With 92,472 PV, it was the league's most popular edition in two years.
Community casting played a huge role in this circuit as well, with over 160 unique channels livestreaming the matches. Individual streamers were also more successful than studio channels, with the likes of Jack "nicewigg" Martin and Phillip "imperialhal" Dosen doing better numbers than the official channels.
The ALGS: 2026 Split 1 Pro League - EMEA comes next with 68,269 PV, followed by ALGS: 2026 Split 1 Pro League - APAC South, which peaked at 41,042 viewers. While some way off from the numbers of the other two circuits, these two still provided a total of 18 sides to the Stage 1 Playoffs line-up.
ALGS: 2026 Split 1 Playoffs dates and teams
This mid-season championship for Apex Legends is part of the Esports World Cup 2026 and will be held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in France from July 7 to 11. It comes with a substantial prize pool of $2 million, the joint-highest ever in the game, on offer.
