DPC 2022 dates revealed: three majors ahead, TI11 to be held in Autumn

UPDATE: Valve rolled out an updated set of rules for DPC 2021/2022. Teams will now earn more qualifying points with each stage of the season. First roster lock date was also revealed: teams can substitute players until November 21st; going forward rosters can swap players at the end of regional leagues and/or kick players until first Tuesday after each major and add them before the first Sunday after majors.

UPDATE #2: Tournament operators for NA and EU events of DPC 2021/2022 were revealed. ESL will host competitions in North America, DreamHack will take care of European events. Epic Esports Events also announced that it will hold events for Eastern Europe.


A new Dota Pro Circuit season will start at the end of November as Alliance team manager Maria Gunina announced. According to Gunina, the Dota 2 competitive season will include three majors, and The International 2022 will be held in the fall. Valve has not yet confirmed the information about next DPC season.

Dota Pro Circuit 2022:


First season: November 29 - December 22, January 5 - 23 (Christmas and New Year's break).

  • First major: February 17-27.

Second season: March 14 - April 24.

  • Second major: May 11 - May 21

Third season: June 6 - July 17

  • Third Major: August 4 - 14

The International 2022 – TBD

As Maria Gunina noted, the duration of the leagues will not be changed compared to the DPC 2021 season. She also said that the dates of the tournaments are not set in stone yet and thus can be changed. Locations of majors and TIs are unknown.

The International 10 will kick-off on October, 7. It was earlier announced that event will be held without live audience. You can follow viewership statistics of the tournament on event's page.
