Where to watch the M5 World Championship
M5 World Championship will see 22 sides battle it out over around three weeks and three stages to emerge as the victor. It carries a prize pool of $900,000, with the top two getting $300,000 and $120,000, while the third-placed team will pocket $80,000.
2023 has been a highly successful season for the game, with MPL Indonesia breaking discipline and mobile esports milestones. Moreover, there were new tournament formats, the participation of new and returning regions, and, of course, the addition of the M5 Wild Card qualifiers, making it one of the more crucial years in recent memory.
To that effect, the organizers will be hoping to sign off on a high with the most important competition on MLBB’s esports calendar. To that effect, this competition will be officially broadcast on the following platforms:
As always, there will be community steaming available, so fans interested in catching the action live on their favorite streamers' channels can head to the schedule page on the profiles and check for timings. Those looking to attend the event in person can purchase tickets here; there are two options available for visitors, so readers can check out their details and buy the preferred one accordingly.
What happened at the M4 World Championship?

With teams from the USA, Myanmar, Vietnam, Turkey, and the Middle East entering the main stage through the qualifying events, this tournament did 27%, 33%, and 33% better in terms of watch time, peak viewership, and average audience, respectively. This success was due to the rise in the number of broadcast channels, which almost doubled to nearly 300 compared to 2021.
Most importantly, it became (at that time) one of the most popular competitions in esports history when not considering Chinese audiences. The M4 World Championship slotted in third in terms of peak audience, behind the Worlds 2022 and the FFWS 2021 Singapore. Only one event has since overtaken it, so it remains the benchmark for the discipline, meaning this year's event will have a tough time beating its statistics.
