M7 World Championship dates and venue
The seventh edition of the MLBB World Championship will be held from January 3 to 26, 2026, at multiple venues in Jakarta, Indonesia. The XO Hall (MPL Arena) will host the Wildcard, Swiss Stage and Knockout Stage Day 1. Meanwhile, the rest of the playoffs will be staged at the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan, which has approximately 3,300 seats. Additional standing room will bring the total possible capacity to around 5,000-5,500 spectators.
Tickets can be purchased here, with an early bird discount giving customers 20% off on transactions until November 30. Moreover, all ticket buyers will receive a limited M7 premium chest, which will contain M1 to M5 permanent items, including skins, emotes and recall effects.
Away from the competitive gaming festivities, Jakarta will also host the M7 Carnival, an unmissable celebration for MLBB fans. From January 23 to 25, the city will come alive with watch parties, live performances, exclusive meet-and-greets and more.

M7 World Championship teams
This MLBB tournament, carrying a prize pool of $1 million, will gather together the world's 22 best teams. Among the Swiss Stage participants, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines have the most representatives with two each.
The Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar, MENA, CIS, LATAM, China and Turkey regions will have one side each in the Swiss Stage. Coming to the Wildcard Stage, sides from regions like Turkey, China, Vietnam, MENA, Laos, CIS, Mongolia and Japan will battle it out.
M7 World Championship format
The M7 World Championship will witness top-class action in three phases, beginning with the Wildcard Stage. It will run from January 3 to 6, with the top two sides from each pool in the Group Stage advancing to the Decider Stage, from where two sides will qualify for the Swiss Stage.
Speaking of the Swiss Stage, it will be held from January 10 to 17, with a total of five rounds scheduled. The top eight sides from here will advance to the Knockout Stage, which will follow a double elimination bracket where all the matches are played in the best-of-five format.
Only the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals will be played in Bo3, while the Grand Final will be a Bo7 affair. Readers must also note that Round 1 (Upper Bracket Quarterfinals and Lower Bracket Round 1) of the Knockout Stage will take place on January 18 at the MPL Arena, before the action moves to the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan from January 21 to 25.
M6 World Championship viewership
Fnatic ONIC PH claimed its maiden MLBB World Championship after defeating Team Liquid Indonesia. This Grand Final clash between the top Filipino and Indonesian teams reached 4.13M Peak Viewers (PV), making it the third-most popular M series event.

The sixth edition of the MLBB World Championship did not break any records in terms of peak concurrent viewership, but it still grew in overall viewership. That was key to it becoming the most-watched iteration of the series, with the early elimination of RRQ Hoshi in the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals restricting the event's total livestreaming potential.
TikTok also reached multiple milestones at the M6 World Championship, including a new Tagalog-language viewership record during the finals. It also touched 1.35 million peak concurrent viewers, helping the platform set a record for peak viewers of an esports live broadcast.
The M7 World Championship is going to be an interesting watch, especially given Indonesian fan-favourite RRQ Hoshi's absence could affect the viewership once again. Nevertheless, other strong sides are present, and it remains to be seen if any team can wrest the trophy away from the Philippines, the powerhouse whose representatives have won the last five world titles.
