Most popular teams of September 2024 — The International champion did not make it into the top 5
In September’s ranking of the most-watched esports teams, a diverse mix of mobile powerhouses and established giants from traditional PC games took center stage. Surprisingly, shooter teams were almost absent, with only one squad making the cut, standing out as an outlier in a genre dominated by other game types.
Despite featuring two participants from The International 2024, neither ended up as the tournament champion. Meanwhile, another team managed to attract massive viewership with just four official matches throughout the entire month, coming close to clinching the top spot in total Hours Watched (HW). What’s more, two organizations ranked not only for their impressive HW but also for their high Average Viewership, solidifying their appeal across different metrics.
