RLCS 2022-23 Winter Split Major has become the most popular Major over the last year
On April 9th, the RLCS 2022-23 Winter Split Major, the final tournament of the Rocket League winter season, concluded in San Diego, United States. Esports Charts calculated the number of viewers who watched the matches, which teams were the most popular, and how the community casting by French streamer Kameto influenced the audience stats of the event.
The RLCS 2022-23 Winter Split Major featured 16 teams, including FaZe Clan, Karmine Corp, Team Liquid, G2 Esports, Team Vitalitу, and other top clubs. There are several teams in the game belonging to popular Twitch streamers. If these teams perform well and achieve success, the tournaments break records for the number of viewers on broadcasts. This is exactly what happened at the RLCS 2022-23 Winter Split Major, where the grand final saw FaZe Clan, a top American organization, face off against Karmine Corp, owned by streamer Kameto.

The most popular broadcast languages were English and French, which together accounted for about 95.5% of the total Hours Watched for the tournament. Additionally, Peak Viewers on English-language broadcasts was slightly higher than on French-language ones.
In total, the matches of the RLCS 2022-23 Winter Split Major were covered on over 50 channels, including official broadcasts and community casters' streams. The most popular channels were the official English-language Rocket League channel and Kemto's channel.
