The most popular tournament in July is IEM Cologne 2022 in CS:GO. The final match between Natus Vincere and FaZe Clan was watched by over 1.2 million Peak Viewers. This is the fifth highest result in the history of the discipline and the best one among non-major tournaments.
The second most popular event is the VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen. The final bentween Paper Rex vs. FunPlus Phoenix was watched by 783K Peak Viewers. This became the fifth highest number in the history of the discipline and the second highest in 2022 after VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters Reykjavík.
The match between T1 and Gen.G in the group stage of LCK Summer 2022 in League of Legends gathered 681K Peak Viewers — the third highest total among esports tournaments in July. It should be noted that the match was a crucial one as it was an encounter between two strongest teams of the region. The Gen.G won with the score of 2-0 and secured first place in the group stage of the league.
In fourth place among the most popular tournaments in July comes the Apex Legends World Championship — ALGS: 2022 Championship. The last round of the competition drew 632.3K Peak Viewers. This result became the second highest in the history of the Battle Royale. The biggest audience was only at the ALGS: 2022 Split 2 Playoffs Finals (676K PV).
One of the major mobile MOBA tournaments, Arena of Valor International Championship 2022, rounds out our Top 5. The Grand final between ONE Team and V Gaming was watched by 581.8K Peak Viewers, the fifth-highest total in the discipline and second-highest in 2022. Only the 31st Southeast Asian Games AoV (625.9K) has a higher result.
Considering only English-language broadcasts, the stream of the RLCS 2021-22 Spring Split Major finals hits the Top-5: 224.5K Peak Viewers watched the decisive match.

CS:GO, Apex Legends, Valorant and Rocket League attracted the attention of English-speaking viewers on Twitch in July. Most of the esports fans gathered on ESL_CSGO channel during the broadcast of the IEM Cologne 2022 Grand final between Natus Vincere and FaZe Clan. The Peak Viewers number there was 490.9K.
More than 213.2K English-speaking viewers followed the sixth round of ALGS: 2022 Championship. This became the second highest result in July among tournaments and a record for playapex, the official channel of the game.
In third place of the most popular English-language broadcasts is Tarik. The former US e-athlete was a VCT 2022 Stage 2: Masters Copenhagen community caster and drew 187.8K Peak Viewers on his live stream. This also became a new personal record for him.
The Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 — Spring Split Major Final between Moist Esports and Team Falcons drew 140.8K Peak Viewers. Fifth place in the ranking goes to the official VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen stream — the clash between FunPlus Phoenix and Paper Rex in the Grand Final attracted 136.7K Peak Viewers on the valorant channel.

ESL_CSGO became the leader not only in the English-language Top, but also in the overall Top of all eSports channels on Twitch in July 2022. Second place goes to csgo_mc, which broadcast IEM Cologne 2022 in Russian — the match between Natus Vincere and FaZe Clan was watched by 262.6K Peak Viewers.
Third place in the Top once again goes to the ALGS 2022 Championship Final broadcast on the playapex channel. Fourth place is taken by Gaules who had 196K Peak Viewers watching the stream in Portuguese. It happened during the match between Imperial Imperial Esports and 00 Nation in the Play-In of the IEM Cologne 2022 tournament.
