A slew of smaller regional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang leagues concluded over the weekend, confirming a few more spots at the upcoming Mid Season Cup 2026. The MTC Turkiye Championship was the only one to put up positive numbers, as the circuit continued to improve on its livestreaming viewership.

The MTC Turkiye Championship Season 7 once again proved its growing stature among the smaller regional leagues in MLBB. It put up series record numbers across all crucial metrics, including a 102.5% spike in the watch time numbers.

What helped this MLBB competition reach a record 504,189 Hours Watched (HW) was the expanded format. As a result, teams played more matches in the Regular Season and the Playoffs, and with most of the top teams reaching the latter phase of the knockouts, it became the first season in this Turkish series to average more than 5,000 viewers (AV).

The MTC Turkiye Championship Season 7 also reached 34,134 Peak Viewers (PV), a 22% jump from the previous record. This was attained during the Grand Final between Aurora Gaming and FUT Esports, which the former won 4:2 to clinch its third straight domestic title.

The finals represented the ideal match-up for the MTC Turkiye Championship to reach a series record for peak live viewers. Aurora Gaming has been the region's dominant recent side, while FUT Esports, although new to the MLBB scene, has been one of the oldest and most popular esports organizations in Turkey.

A look at the table of the most popular completed regional qualifiers for the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 shows that the MTC Turkiye Championship Season 7 is among the top eight entries. Given that it attracted a few thousand viewers during the first few seasons, this has been a massive leap for the circuit in a short span of time.

Fans will hope that Aurora Gaming and FUT Esports can back this viewership rise by leaving a mark at the MSC 2026, which will be part of the Esports World Cup 2026 in France. While the winner earned a direct invite to the Main Event, the runner-up will start in the Wildcard Stage.

The MPL Singapore Season 11 continued to lose viewers, and although its peak concurrent viewership figures rose slightly compared to the previous season, the numbers are a far cry from its pre-COVID-era heyday. A new winner emerging seemed to engage audiences just enough to facilitate this jump.

The latest split pulled in 12,717 PV, an improvement of 9.12% from the MPL Singapore Season 10, during the Grand Final. IGNITE Gaming beat EVIL 4:3 in a closely fought series to clinch its first domestic title in its maiden appearance in the finals.

Nevertheless, the MPL Singapore has fallen behind newer, less established regional leagues like MPL Cambodia, MPL MENA and the two MLBB Super Leagues in terms of viewership. With one of its legacy names, Team Flash, leaving the circuit to join the newly franchised MPL Malaysia earlier this year, it remains to be seen what measures it takes to stem the falling audience interest.

The other regional league to conclude recently was the MLBB Continental Championships. A professional circuit for the CIS, Georgia, and Ukraine regions, it has found a settled audience for itself over the past few years, but there was a slight decline across the main metrics compared to the previous split.

The MLBB Continental Championships Season 7 peaked at 24,650 viewers during the finals between Team Spirit and Verso Time. The former eased to a 4:0 win to clinch its fifth straight domestic trophy while earning a direct entry to the MCS 2026 Main Event.

Verso Time, meanwhile, notched its first-ever top-two finish in the MCC, clinching a spot in the Wildcard Stage of the MCS 2026. It will battle nine other sides from across the globe to claim that one remaining slot in the Main Event.

The absence of Virtus.pro, one of the most-followed Russian esports organizations, from the Grand Final undoubtedly affected the viewership of the MLBB Continental Championships Season 7. Had it faced Team Spirit in the title clash, there is a good chance the match would have crossed 30,000 PV.

With these regional leagues concluding, most of the teams participating in the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 have been locked in. This mid-season championship will be held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in France from July 22 to August 1. The Wildcard stage will begin on July 1 and run until July 4, with the winner advancing to the Main Event.
