Valorant Masters Toronto 2025's Swiss Stage draws 12% more viewers on average than Bangkok edition
The Swiss Stage of the Valorant Masters Toronto 2025 concluded on June 11, signaling the end of the journey for four teams. There was not much change in terms of the most popular match, which came on the first day of the event, but it continued to be more consistently watched than the season's first Masters tournament in Bangkok, as major audiences continued to tune in to support their teams.
The Valorant Masters Toronto 2025 started with 12 of the top sides from its four regional leagues competing for a shot at international glory. Four of these teams earned direct playoff spots as winners of the abovementioned circuits, while the rest battled it out in the Swiss Stage.
Eventually, Paper Rex, Sentinels, Wolves Esports, and Gen.G Esports advanced to the Playoffs to join the four league winners as they continued the battle to clinch the second Master event of the year.
The most popular match of the Swiss Stage came during the first encounter on Day 1 between Paper Rex and Team Heretics. It touched 581,175 Peak Viewers (PV) as the former conceded just ten rounds across two games, convincingly clinching the series 2:0.

The 580,000+ peak concurrent viewers was a negligible increment of 3% on the year's first Masters tournament in Bangkok. The most popular game in the latter's Group Stage was the clash between Sentinels and DRX, two renowned names in their respective regions of the Americas and the Pacific.
More crucially, having kicked off with a 14% higher average viewership than the Valorant Masters Bangkok 2025, the Canadian edition maintained that momentum. The group stage in Toronto enjoyed a 12% rise in its Average Viewers (AV) count over its Thailand cousin, meaning it has been more consistently watched so far.
The peak live numbers for many languages also continued to be higher in Toronto than what was seen in Bangkok. English, Portuguese, and Spanish were the main global languages to see green, although one of the other major dialects, Japanese, saw a decline in its figures.
After enjoying a spike when the event first began, the unfavorable time zone difference to Canada for the region eventually seemed to have caught up with Japanese audiences. Korean Valorant audiences also seem to have suffered from the same issue, despite its representative making the Playoffs, suffering a slip of 24% in its Group Stage PV numbers.

The Valorant Masters Toronto 2025 Playoffs will begin on June 13 and run till June 22. One language that could affect viewership going forward is Portuguese, as the Brazilian representative that caused the increase in its Swiss Stage numbers, MIBR, was eventually knocked out after losing both its matches.
Nevertheless, many of the prominent names, like Sentinels, Gen.G, Rex Regum Qeon, and Paper Rex, have made the knockouts, meaning we can also expect strong viewership growth in East and Southeast Asia. With the right matchups and some intense action, which is always the case in the Playoffs, Toronto could still turn out to be one of the more popular Valorant Champions Tour Masters tournaments.
