The Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2023 concluded on December 17 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, as part of Dreamhack Atlanta. It ended as the most-watched event ever in the discipline and the second most popular in the series, ending a crucial season on a positive note.
The Grand Final was an all-Asian affair as India and China met to decide which was the better nation when it came to COD Mobile esports. At the end of it all, Wolves came back from 1:2 down to defeat GodLike Esports 4:2 and become the second-ever world champion in the sport.
The tournament winner took home $400K out of a total prize pool of $1M, with NIAN clinching the Finals MVP award. The runner-up got richer by $170K while the sides in the 3rd-4th bracket (Luminosity, Qing Jiu Club) pocketed $80K each.

It was a close fight between three sides for the title of most followed based on average concurrent viewership, but one side came out on top. At the end of it all, just 3.5K people separated the top three, showing just how much support these organizations enjoyed right through this COD:M event.
English and YouTube remained the dominant language and platform, respectively, at the COD Mobile World Championship this year. However, as earlier mentioned, audiences from the former seemed not to have watched the Grand Final after their representation ended at the Semifinals, as the language fell in its overall watch time figure by 8.4%.
Among the top streamers were GamerFleet and iFerg - Live, two renowned Call of Duty: Mobile streamers from India and Northern Ireland, respectively. In fact, the latter is a content creator for Tribe Gaming, which reached the Playoffs Quarterfinals of this tournament after finishing third at the Snapdragon Pro Series Season 3 - North America.

The Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2023 has become the most-watched competition in the discipline ever, beating the previous record holder by around 25K people. Despite there being an almost similar level of channels live streaming it and having a more compact format, this year's edition was able to garner a lot more attention from audiences the world over, helping it break this mark.
GamerFleet saw a big leap in his watch time in 2023, supporting and following the two Indian teams' journeys and attracting lots of eyeballs to the event as a result. Moreover, English and Spanish took a lot more interest this time around, with the Hispanic community coming out in droves to see Mexico's TLE Esports battle for the top prize.

The Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2023 also finished as the fourth-most popular event of all time in the discipline and by far the most successful one this year. ESL Faceit Group and Activision have done a great job of ending the season on a high and making the sport a more viable and attractive proposition for esports fans.
