This time, we’ve compiled stats on the most popular matches from the opening day of Stage 1. At the top, the match between Imperial Esports and B8 Esports was most popular in terms of viewership.

Imperial Esports and B8 Esports clashed in the first round of Stage 1 on Inferno. The match was extremely tense, but ultimately, the Ukrainian team came out on top. A standout moment was when Andrij ‘’npl’’ Kukharsjkyj pulled off a stunning 1v4 clutch at a tied score late in the game. This play became the most popular highlight on the official English broadcast by BLASTPremier on Twitch.

The most popular matches from Day 1 of the Austin Major 2025

The match between Imperial Esports and B8 Esports peaked at 292,703 viewers. Alexandre ‘’Gaules’’ Chiqueta, who consistently covers Brazilian teams, contributed a big part to this peak. He was one of the most popular community caster on the Major’s opening day, multistreaming to both Twitch and YouTube to well over 75,000 viewers. The top matches also featured Complexity Gaming vs. OG and NRG vs. TYLOO, each drawing over 250,000 peak viewers. OG dominated their opponent 13-3 on Ancient, and NRG secured a strong 13-5 win against the Chinese team on Anubis. The least popular match on Day 1 was between Legacy and Chinggis Warriors, which reached just 87,140 live viewers at its peak.

For those who love stats, it’s worth mentioning that the most-watched match on Day 1 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 outperformed the top Day 1 match at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024. At that event, the Team Liquid vs. Wildcard game peaked at 285,385 viewers.
