Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 APAC - Challenge Finals continues to push MLBB to new viewership heights
The Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 APAC - Challenge Finals concluded at the Persada Johor International Convention Centre in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, on February 16. It ended with over 1,150,000 concurrent viewers, making it the most popular third-party Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament.
This $150,000 prize pool event promised fans some heavy hitters from the region's MLBB scene. This list included the M6 World Championship top three of Selangor Red Giants, ONIC.PH, and Team Liquid ID, alongside arguably the game's most popular side, RRQ Hoshi, and other prominent names like ONIC Esports and Aurora Gaming.

After around a week of intense battles, it came down to sister teams ONIC.PH and ONIC Esports, yet another battle between the powerhouse MLBB nations of Indonesia and the Philippines. And it was the defending world champion who came out on top to hand the latter country even more bragging rights after winning the Grand Final 4:0.

This MLBB competition also generated over 15 million Hours Watched (HW) and 379,453 Average Viewers (AV) in about 40 hours of airtime. The former was a record for the game in the Snapdragon Pro Series, becoming just the second event in the series to cross the 15 million HW mark.
As mentioned earlier, the Season 6 APAC - Challenge Finals was a big success for the Snapdragon Pro Series. It is now the most popular third-party event in the game and the top one when not including global/continental championships or the regional Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL).
Most popular Snapdragon Pro Series tournaments
It also emerged as the Snapdragon Pro Series' top offering by HW and PV across games. This Asia-Pacific competition also ended as co-organizer ESL's top MLBB competition by peak concurrent viewership.
What helped it reach such heights was the interest shown by audiences from Indonesia. The language's cumulative watch time improved by almost 30% from the Snapdragon Pro Series Season 5 APAC - Challenge Finals.
While the presence of RRQ Hoshi was key this time, there were also a lot more sides from this Southeast Asian nation that placed in the top six, attracting the interest of a lot more viewers for Season 6.
Most watched Snapdragon Pro Series competitions
There were also a lot more channels covering the action: 233 as compared to 165 in Season 5. YouTube and TikTok were the biggest contributors to the overall HW figures at this event, both seeing increments between 5% and 7% in their total watch times.
Having seen record numbers last year and ending with a bang via the M6 World Championship, MLBB has gotten the new year off to a great start. With the Mobile Masters 2025 to come, there is a good chance things get even better even before the regional MPL tournaments kick into gear.
